Description:

We have two rods on the Mar Estate beat of the River Dee, this extends from Braemar westwards on the SOUTH bank of the Dee as far as the Linn of Dee..

Fly fishing only, this beat starts fishing from early May each season.

Brown trout are also abundant here and can give great sport, especially in the rocky pools higher up the beat.

Mar Estate is fished by a maximum of 2 rods per day as follows:

• Mar fishing is FLY only for Salmon, Sea Trout and Brown Trout.
• Pike fishing: Utilising dead sea bait only, NO SPINNING!
• BAA have 2 rods per day, we shall abide by customary fishing etiquette and courteousness for North Bank Fishers


Any salmon or sea trout caught MUST be returned to the water.
All pike to be dispatched



MAKE A RETURN OF YOUR DAY EVEN IF NO FISH ARE CAUGHT.

PLEASE TAKE ALL RUBBISH HOME AFTER EVERY VISIT.
